No Hockey Lately

I try not to get my hopes up that I might see hockey this year but it appears the NHL, or No Hockey Lately, is in jeopardy of keeping rinks closed for the season. They should apologize to a lot of people. They owe an apology to all the southerners who have converted to hockey and the Carolina Hurricanes.
They should apologize to all the fans of the iconic teams like the Blues, Islanders, Black Hawks and Bruins. They should apologize to all the venders, journalists and arena employees who are looking for a way to make a living.
It is the latest in a sad history of labor disputes in major sports. If there is progress in the labor dispute you can read all about in The Corner. Ya'll come back now.
