Good afternoon of football

Some times you don't have to be a fan of any team to enjoy a game. I learned that this afternoon. It was just by chance that I came up on the Outback Bowl. Frankly, whoever won between Georgia and Michigan State really wasn't important. It still was one of my most enjoyable football experiences in recent days.
I admit I fell asleep some time between the third and fourth quarters but over time was great. Even down to the last minute block of a field goal, the game was just fun.
It was nice not having someone in the fight. I didn't care which way a call went. No player either got my cheers or my jeers. I just enjoyed the athletic ability of a bunch of kids. I enjoyed the opportuntity to see some players with their last opportunity to shine before the real world hits them in the face in a few months. Simply said a good afternoon of sports.
