Cunningham Son Dies

As the Corner is about all aspects of sport, have to put out a quick condolence for former Eagles, Vikings, Cowboys and Ravens quarterback Randall Cunningham. His two year old son Christian died in what has been reported as an accidental hot tube drowning in his back yard at the Cunningham home in Nevada.

For me this just hits home a little bit. Cunningham was always a favorite. He was the Michael Vick of his generation, a unique conbination of running passing ability. During his hay day he was one of the best of the game.  He passed for 29,979 yards and 207 touchdowns. Truly terrible he is going through this now. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Since football Cunningham has become a minister in Las Vegas and done baptisms in the very same hot tube.  When the news first broke yesterday 100 of his church family came to sing and pray in front of the home.
