No Hitter Live - But Doesn't Happen

I realize when most read this it will be past but for the first time, there is live action in The Woerners Corner.
I thought I was going to sleep soon. Right now, both the Cubs and White Sox have no hitters into the seventh inning. If history happens it will be outlined here before anywhere else on the web!

The Cubs Ted Lilly just finished his half of the inning. Still no hits.
Gavin Floyd with the Sox just put a man on with a walk. Alfonso Soriano at the plate but Derek Lee was just thrown out stealing. No Cub at second base all night. Until now. There it goes, Soriano with the first hit of the night, taking a slider to left field. Another hit an Soriano scores. Now lets see what Lilly does when he comes out in the eighth. Another easy pop up and Lilly goes to the final inning with the no hitter in tact.

Lily is geting the big standing O as the comes up to bat in the bottom of number 8. He bunted, even with two strikes, just to get back in the dugout and wait for history to continue
Before we start this last half lets just wow! The year of the no Hiter goes on.

Juan Pierre pinch hitting for Gavin Floyd. Bull pen is up, just what Lilly needs is that pressure going on behind him. There it goes. Hit up the middle and that is it sports fans. Except to say dont ask me why Lilly is being pulled out of the game.

Good night we will see you back in The Corner soon.
